Pettisville Theatre classes recently spent time working on their stage presence/ hand-combat training with special guest: Christian Beck, Stage Combat Instructor... the only day where "hitting" your classmates won't get you sent to the principal's office!
Ms. Enderle's classes have been working on their teamwork, creating bells, as well as making some festive grinches. Keep up the good work, Blackbirds!

Our students were greeted with cheerful, bright signs made by the Kindergarten classes, Christmas music in the hallways, and a festive hallway! Make it a great day, Blackbirds 🙂

You may remember hearing about an event that kicked-off the 21-22 school year: Blackbird Signing Day. Incoming Kindergarten students officially "signed" as Blackbirds by imprinting their painted hands on the back of a Class of 2034 T-shirt. This was the start of a new tradition at Pettisville Schools, made possible through funding from the Pettisville School Foundation. That is just one of many examples of how the PSF supports staff ideas that benefit our students.
Recently, a newsletter was mailed out with an update on new activities with the PSF and membership form for the years 2022-2024. Membership is only $35 for individuals and $100 for corporate sponsors for that 3-year term. The newsletter and PSF membership form is posted on our school website: https://www.pettisvilleschools.org/page/psf
You may mail memberships/donations to: PSF, PO BOX 53111, Pettisville, OH 43553 or turn into the school office. Thank you for 35 Years of supporting the Pettisville School Foundation!

Parents, do you recognize any of your child's items? **Additional pictures in comments** Our Lost + Found table is overflowing; it's time these items found their homes! Please let the office know if you see something that belongs to your child, so we can send home. Thank you!

@PettisvilleElem is always rocking the spirit weeks! Mr. Waldvogel's SO festive, a few PES Elves secretly decorated his truck... and Mrs. Thompson's 5th grade class even wrapped presents with his photos attached. Thanks for being a good sport!

One of the blessings of being a K-12 school in one building is the opportunity for collaboration. This week, Mrs. Meller's Physics students learned about the physics behind toys, and in turn, taught our 2nd graders what they learned and had some hands-on fun together! Each student received a small bag of toys to take home. This project was made possible by the Pettisville School Foundation.
Ms. Dorosz and Mrs. Wyman took the Freshman class to see West Side Story today. They had a great day!
Mrs. Podach from Fulton County Soil and Water visited our Pre-K class today and taught them all about great horned owls of Ohio! The preschoolers were mesmerized!

Menu Change for Friday, December 17: Teriyaki Popcorn Chicken (plain for elementary), Steamed Brown Rice, Seasoned Broccoli, Carrots w/ Ranch, Assorted Fruit, and Milk. Thank You for being flexible!

@GirlNamedTom - unbelievable! Making history... Amazing!

Welcome to incoming 7-12 principal, Adam Wagner! Mr. Wagner is the current principal at Patrick Henry High School. Welcome to Blackbird Country! More on Mr. Wagner to come!

Our halls are filled with festive hats and big smiles… who knew there were so many Santa’s?!🎅🏼 🤶🏻

Noteworthy shared their talents with area churches on Sunday, performing at Zion Mennonite in Archbold, Pettisville Missionary, and Crossroads Church in Wauseon. They enjoyed lunch at Los Mariachis following their performances. Great job!

The Gingerbread Men were on the loose in the school all weekend, but at last, they have been found! The Kindergarteners shrieked with delight as they followed the powdered sugar trail and found them hiding in the bushes! Brr...
