Senior Art Exhibit: Mya
Mya shares, “I love art, because when I start on a project I feel peaceful, and I have a moment where my mind is only thinking about one thing.”

The Pettisville Blackbird & Alumni Virtual Art Exhibition is LIVE:

Thank you to everyone who entered the Pettisville Alumni Exhibit. You, as well as all of my present and former students, have been an encouragement to me. Making art, looking at art, and talking about art is my passion. May you all continue to create and enjoy art throughout your lives.
As Andy Warhol once said, “Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”
Joyce W. Nafziger
Congratulations to Mrs. Nafziger on her upcoming retirement!

This week, the Class of 2022 took a field trip to the Ohio District Court of Appeals. Government lesson of the day: The Ohio District Courts of Appeals are the intermediate appellate courts of the U.S. state of Ohio. The Ohio Supreme Court has the discretion to review cases from the courts of appeals, but generally the appeals process in Ohio ends with the decision of the court of appeals.

Spring is a busy time inside the school walls. From State testing to Graduation prep, Chromebook and hardware deliveries, and lots of learning in between! The Technology Department is thankful for our student helper, Caden.

Saturday, April 30th Pettisville High School will host PROM for the Junior and Senior classes.
Walk-Ins will begin at 5:00 PM and are open to the public, but we ask that you be parked and in the viewing area before 5:00 so that we can direct the students' cars into the lot. Please see the attached photo with designated parking/viewing areas. The community is asked to park in the lower level of parking by the Atrium, or at the South Fields.
The viewing area for families and community members to gather and watch will be on the north lawn across from the main entrance as students exit their vehicles and are introduced. There will be a square marked off in the grass where family and friends can step forward for pictures when their student is being announced.
Attached is a map of the layout for Walk-Ins which illustrates where people can park, watch, and where parking/standing will not be allowed.
