Today, Mrs. Hoffmire's class had a special surprise in the Library. Ms. Martie, Children's Librarian from the Archbold Community Library, read a wonderful book and introduced them to her friend, Elvis! 🐓 Our library has partnered to be able to offer ACL library cards to our kindergarteners, so they can take advantage of additional books, programming and the summer reading program. This week Chad Aeschliman, owner of Gerig Eavespouting, shared with Mrs. Wixom's 3rd-graders about the goods and services he provides to the consumer. We learned a great deal about economics in the real world from Ty’s dad! Thanks for coming in, Mr. Aeschliman!

The All-County band concert scheduled for today is cancelled due to snow and the potential for continued snow showers with blowing and drifting possibilities.
Mrs. Holsopple's 2nd-graders did a fantastic job on their Valentine's boxes and Mrs. Wise's PM preschoolers enjoyed a Valentine's scavenger hunt!
Mrs. Wixom's 3rd grade have been learning about importing and exporting as well as the difference between goods and services. Yesterday, Elise's parents came in to talk about what they do.
Thank you, Dr. Katie and Mr. Jesse Jimenez for coming in to talk about your jobs and how you provide goods and/or services to others! They both did an excellent job using the economic vocabulary that third graders have been studying. Thank you for an engaging and informative lesson on economics in the real world!
All-county band rehearsal scheduled for this morning is cancelled due to snow on the roads and the potential of another weather system moving through the area. Rehearsal will begin at noon tomorrow with the concert to follow as scheduled.

PES third graders Travis and Ty recently enjoyed a special visit at school from BGSU soccer players! Travis and Ty joined the BGSU soccer kids fan club last fall and cheered on the men’s soccer team at five or more home games. As a thank you for supporting the team, the players join fans for lunch at school! What an awesome way to give back to their fans!
Fun Friday families had fun learning more about fellow Blackbirds in their families, playing "Find a Friend" and finishing their morning with a colorful activity. If you purchase popcorn or caramel popcorn at one of our basketball games, you just might be treated to an extra cheerful bag! Great job, Blackbirds!
The Fulton County Spelling Bee scheduled for tonight at the NwOESC has been postponed until a to-be-determined future date.
Pettisville Schools will be closed Thursday, February 13, 2025, due to icy and snowy conditions. Real Money, Real World and Junior Job Shadow day has been rescheduled for February 20th.
