Mrs. Aeschliman's kindergartners have been busy learning all about Neighborhoods and Communities, and have put the finishing touches on their very own community! They worked hard painting, designing and building 3D models. This week, they will continue to add on to the community and play with cars and build train tracks! Very cool, Blackbirds!

REMINDER: There is a 2-Hr Delay tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29th for staff in-service. Thank you.

We're starting this week off with a new menu item: Rotini & Meat Sauce. Thanks to our Bird Cafe staff for a delicious, hearty meal!

Mrs. Hoffmire's kindergartners recently met Mr. Zimmerman and Mr. Jaramillo from the technology department. They shine like a star when they fix our Chromebooks, phones, and Clevertouch boards. Mr. Gabe makes sure our buses are working. Mr. Zimmerman also shines like a star when he encourages the golf team, and Coach J coaches the cross country and track teams.

Help Needed: Next weekend, Rhonda needs help at both home basketball games. Please follow the link to sign up: https://signup.com/go/TzpmPhG

Mrs. Pennington’s small group has been working hard to learn how to write passages on making Mexican Hot Chocolate. To wrap up the unit, students helped make the recipe come to life! Great job, Blackbirds - what a delicious way to learn!

Keep saving your tabs for Ronald McDonald House, Blackbirds! As a reminder, students can bring in containers/ziplock bags at any point in the school year. Our FCCLA visits RMHC in Toledo each spring to take all of the tabs we've collected and make dinner for the guests staying at RMHC. Our bins are filling up, keep up the good work. Thanks for your support of this wonderful program!
