Earlier this year, Pettisville's NHS chapter met and decided to put on a fundraising event to benefit those affected by the wildfires that struck Hawaii last August. This Friday students can wear hats if they would like to support this fundraiser.
Elementary students should pay $1.00 to their homeroom teacher, and JH/HS students should pay $1.00 to their academic assist teacher. Thank you in advance, Blackbirds!

REMINDER: @FourCountyNews is hosting FREE Classes for students entering 7th, 8th or 9th grade next FALL. Must register by May 1st - classes are first come, first served and fill up quickly!

This past week Mrs. Wixom's 3rd-graders learned all about the solar eclipse! Students made pinhole projectors, explored UV light with UV light beads, and made solar eclipse books. They also talked about how the solar eclipse might affect animal behavior, made diagrams of the eclipse, and learned about the importance of eye protection during an eclipse. Stay safe and enjoy the solar eclipse tomorrow, Blackbirds!
