The Ohio Music Education Association solo and ensemble competition was held today at Defiance High School. Four of our Blackbird students received excellent and superior ratings. Fantastic job and congratulations to Leah, Katie, Caroline, and Genevieve!

On Tuesday, the Art 2, 3, and 4 students enjoyed a field trip to the Fort Wayne Museum of Art and the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Gardens. Two of our students, Jada and Liz, had pieces on display at the Museum of Art.

Varsity Softball & Varsity Baseball, Montpelier at Pettisville, have been postponed for today 3/29/22. The games have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wed. March 30 starting at 4:00 pm.

Our FFA students have been hard at work, attending and competing in CDE District 1 and state CDE (Career Development Event) contests.
The Farm and Agri-Business Management team placed 6th in the state and 1st in District 1. Pettisville’s top 4 scorers were: Harley, Carson, Clara, and Karsen. Individually, Harley and Carson were 1st and 2nd in the District.
The Veterinary Science Team of Sophie, Clara, Luke, and Morgan competed and placed 2nd. Individually, Sophie placed 3rd.

FCCLA officers, along with Ms. Litogot and Mrs. Lammers spent the morning visiting Ronald McDonald House Charities in Toledo. They dropped off the pop tabs from the school-wide contest, toured RMHC, and prepared “Dinner on the House” for the guests. It was a great day!
