Mrs. Pennington’s classes hunted for eggs this week for some extra fun. Inside, they found a variety of either sight words to read or math problems to solve. They had a fantastic time! Happy Easter break, Blackbirds! 🐰 🐣

Presenting... the newest set of published authors! Mrs. Aeschliman's kindergarten class, along with Mrs. Wixom's 3rd grade class wrote and illustrated their own books this spring. From researching biomes and habitats, to practicing neat writing skills and illustrating their pages, these Blackbirds worked hard and should be so proud of their amazing books! Students were able to pre-purchase a copy of the book, and today was the day to celebrate their arrival. One copy of each book will be available in our school library. We hope to continue this program with different classes for many years to come.
Awesome job, Blackbirds! 📚 🖊️ 🐦⬛

Last Friday, our Kindergarten through 2nd-grade classes had an exceptionally Fun Friday! They visited the Valentine Theatre to watch the "Dot Dot Dot" production, followed by a trip to the Toledo Public Library. They enjoyed story time and visiting all of the amazing exhibits throughout the library.

It was all smiles for this "Bro Lunch" today. These 5th graders cashed in their mini book report dollars to eat lunch with juniors Jack and Creighton. Everyone agreed, it was the best reading reward ever... it's a great day to be a Blackbird! 🐦⬛

Our Agribusiness students have spent the year building a business plan, and thanks to a grant from Pettisville School Foundation, part of the class is producing their product for sale. Please see the list below, along with the attached flyers with photos of the products. They are competing to see who can earn the most net income for their business. All income will be used to cover expenses and make this opportunity happen again for next year's Agribusiness class. Please contact the students directly to place orders for any products you'd like to purchase. They will be selling products through May 9.
