You may remember hearing about an event that kicked-off the 21-22 school year: Blackbird Signing Day. Incoming Kindergarten students officially "signed" as Blackbirds by imprinting their painted hands on the back of a Class of 2034 T-shirt. This was the start of a new tradition at Pettisville Schools, made possible through funding from the Pettisville School Foundation. That is just one of many examples of how the PSF supports staff ideas that benefit our students. Recently, a newsletter was mailed out with an update on new activities with the PSF and membership form for the years 2022-2024. Membership is only $35 for individuals and $100 for corporate sponsors for that 3-year term. The newsletter and PSF membership form is posted on our school website: https://www.pettisvilleschools.org/page/psf You may mail memberships/donations to: PSF, PO BOX 53111, Pettisville, OH 43553 or turn into the school office. Thank you for 35 Years of supporting the Pettisville School Foundation! Sneak Peek of newsletter content: Visit the NEW PSF Website at www.PSFBlackbirds.org

One of the blessings of being a K-12 school in one building is the opportunity for collaboration. This week, Mrs. Meller's Physics students learned about the physics behind toys, and in turn, taught our 2nd graders what they learned and had some hands-on fun together! Each student received a small bag of toys to take home. This project was made possible by the Pettisville School Foundation.
