Mrs. Aeschliman's kindergarten students have continued learning about plants in Science this week. Today they went to the PHS greenhouse to observe and draw different types of leaves. They loved visiting the greenhouse and thought it felt so warm and tropical!

National Honor Society's "Caps for Cali" fundraiser is tomorrow, February 28th. Students K-12 are permitted to wear a hat/cap to school if students bring in $1 or more to donate. Funds raised will assist those affected by the California Wildfires.
Good Luck to our Varsity Boys' Basketball team as they take on the Edon Bombers tonight in the District semi-finals.
The game is at Bryan High School beginning at 6:00 pm. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Tickets purchased are good for both games (the second game is Edgerton vs. Montpelier). Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets may be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets or with cash at the gate. Please note, there is a $3 charge for parking for the District Tournament. Pettisville seating is located at the north end of the gym behind the team bench and across the floor from the team bench. The student section will be behind the team bench.

Today, Mrs. Hoffmire's class had a special surprise in the Library. Ms. Martie, Children's Librarian from the Archbold Community Library, read a wonderful book and introduced them to her friend, Elvis! 🐓 Our library has partnered to be able to offer ACL library cards to our kindergarteners, so they can take advantage of additional books, programming and the summer reading program. Mrs. Holsopple's 2nd-graders did a fantastic job on their Valentine's boxes and Mrs. Wise's PM preschoolers enjoyed a Valentine's scavenger hunt!
Mrs. Wixom's 3rd grade have been learning about importing and exporting as well as the difference between goods and services. Yesterday, Elise's parents came in to talk about what they do.
Thank you, Dr. Katie and Mr. Jesse Jimenez for coming in to talk about your jobs and how you provide goods and/or services to others! They both did an excellent job using the economic vocabulary that third graders have been studying. Thank you for an engaging and informative lesson on economics in the real world!
