We heard you, Pettisville Community.
If you recall, a Community Recreation survey was sent out at the end of the summer season. We asked you questions about the Community Recreation programming ranging from what works, what needs to be improved upon, and what those improvements should look like. We read your responses, and we realized it was time to change our programming model. We are excited to announce that we will be looking for a Baseball Programming Coordinator and a Softball Programming Coordinator. These coordinators will help to build programming from the ground up, starting with our tee ball Blackbirds. Our programmers will coordinate registration, and scheduling, develop practice plans for each age level, and run each practice. They will vet coaching volunteers, and work with spring coaches to create a consistent, common, on-the-field language, and work to create a playbook for Blackbird softball and baseball. They will be present and committed to growing the skills and love of the game for each Blackbird. Please visit our community rec webpage for further Baseball Programming Coordinator and Softball Programming Coordinator duties.

They also made city maps and drove all kinds of transportation to travel on the maps.

The Red Cross national blood supply has fallen by about 25% since early August. Right now, blood product distributions to hospitals are outpacing the number of blood donations coming in. We need your help, Blackbirds: https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/donation-time
