
Aaron Mora, third grader, stands in front of his class's vegetable garden experiment, holding his pet tortoise. Aaron gave a demonstration on caring for pet tortoises, as well as taught the class about the different parts of a tortoise and what each part is used to help it survive.

Today twelve 7th and 8th grade students traveled to the ESC in Archbold to compete in the Writers Ink Competition against other local schools. Good luck to them!

Mrs. Bacon's Textiles students went to the Quilt Show at Sauder Village on Thursday, May 4th. Eleven students were able to attend the event. The quilts were beautiful and it was a new experience for everyone who attended. Sauder Village and Anita Roth have donated quilting fabric and invested time in teaching our Textiles students how to quilt.


Twelve members of the Pettisville High School Quiz Team will be competing in a regional tournament at Van Wert High School on Saturday. The team went 12-0 in the regular season.

Pettisville High School juniors, seniors, and their guests enjoy dancing at the 2017 Prom dinner and dance held at Northwest State Community College.


The FFA chapter held the annual Tractor Day on Tuesday, April 26th. Members brought in 3 tractors and a spreader truck. The Ag students looked at the machinery and noted potential safety hazards.

The varsity baseball and varsity softball games for today, March 28, have been moved to Hilltop High School.

Congratulations to senior Gabe Beck and English teacher Miss Rebecca Dorosz. Gabe was selected as the Fulton County winner of the Franklin B. Walter Scholarship Award for his academic achievement and other criteria required for the scholarship. Gabe selected Miss Dorosz as his "honored teacher" for her positive impact on his high school career. Gabe and his family will be recognized at a state banquet later this year in Columbus with the other county winners.


Pettisville FFA welcomed a special guest on Thursday. Kameron Rinehart, an Ohio FFA Vice President at large, visited the chapter and gave presentations to ag classes about what FFA has to offer.

The junior high quiz teams traveled to the Fulton County tournament today. The 8th grade team brought home the Varsity trophy for the second year in a row. Congratulations to them!



The Business Management class took the Farm Business Management online CDE test on March 1st. They placed 1st in the district and 7th in the state.

The 8th graders visited Archbold Middle School to participate in Junior Achievement day. Local business partners shared Information on career choices, insurance, credit reports, and much more.
