The theme for the Girls Basketball sectional final game against Hilltop at Paulding on Saturday is BLACK OUT!

Yesterday the junior high quiz team defeated Evergreen 52-29.  Kayden Dominique was high scorer followed by Caleb Lako and Josh Morris.  Congratulations, quiz team!

Afternoon activity period will be for FCCLA - meet in the old commons; Quiz - meet in room 201.

The varsity and JV boys basketball teams both finished the regular season with victories over Tinora last night. The varsity boys won 61 to 59 and the JV boys won 34 to 31.

The varsity girls basketball team will play tomorrow in the sectional final vs. Hilltop at Paulding High School in the second game of the evening with the first game, Crestview vs. North Central, starting at 6:00pm. All tickets for the tournament game must be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets. 

The varsity boys basketball team will open up tournament play next week on Tuesday, February 21, vs. Edgerton at Bryan High School at 6:00 pm. All tickets for the tournament must be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets.


Wednesday, Feb. 15 - 

This week, we celebrate National FCCLA week. Dress up and join us in celebrating this great organization. Tomorrow is Hawaiian day. 

The weight room will be closed  Thursday, and Friday mornings.

Pettisville will play Montpelier tonight at Paulding High School starting around 7:30pm in the 2nd game of the evening with the first game, Crestview vs. Fayette, starting at 6pm. All tickets for the tournament game must be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets. Select Division 4, Region 14, Northwest 4. This is not a split session. Your ticket is good for both games. Seniors, remember to come to Pettisville Missionary Church tomorrow morning. Attendance will be taken at 8:20. It is a school day so make sure you are there for the whole day. No late arrivals, no early releases. 

Last night the varsity and jv quiz teams both lost to Defiance while the varsity team defeated Fayette.

The weight room will only be open this week on Wednesday morning from 6:30 am to 7:45 AM.  The weight room will be closed  Thursday, and Friday mornings.

The JH quiz team defeated Swanton last night by a final score of 35-26. Top scorers for the 8th grade were Kayden Dominque with 9 points and Ryan Bishop and Caleb Lako with 7 points each. For the 7th grade, Keegan Bird scored 6 points. Congratulations to the quiz team. They move on to play Evergreen this Thursday!

Monday, Feb. 13 - 

This week, we celebrate National FCCLA week. Dress up and join us in celebrating this great organization. FCCLA stands for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. We promote personal growth and leadership growth through Family and Consumer Science Classes. Today is “Western Day.” Tomorrow is “Red and Pink Day.”  Check the signs in the hallways for reminders. Show your FCCLA spirit!

JH Quiz Members:  If you are planning to attend the rescheduled match today vs Swanton, please remember to sign up in Mr. Switzer’s room. 

The bus will leave for the JH quiz match right after school today.

Results from over the weekend: On Friday, the varsity boys lost to Stryker 30 to 31.  The varsity boys finished as the BBC Runner-up. The JV boys picked up the win over Stryker 33 to 30.  The JV finished the season as the JV BBC Champions. Congratulations.

On Saturday, the varsity boys lost to Wauseon 41 to 46 and the JV boys lost 24 to 39. 

The boys basketball teams will host Tinora on Thursday with the freshman game at 4:30 pm followed by the JV and varsity games.  Senior night will take place after the JV game.
