Friday, Jan. 20 - 

There will be a quiz fundraiser tonight at the boys basketball game. The fundraiser includes a silent auction and bake sale. The money raised will fund the quiz team’s trip to Nationals in Chicago this April. Please come to support the quiz team. 

Afternoon activity period will be for FCCLA - meet in the old commons; Quiz - meet in room 201. FFA will meet in the ag room today also.

Results from last night:  The varsity girls picked up the BBC win at Fayette by a score of 50 to 26. The JV girls lost 21 to 27. The freshman boys defeated Fayette in overtime 49 to 39. The 8th grade boys lost to Evergreen 10 to 42. The 7th grade boys won 53 to 5.


Thursday, Jan. 19 -

The junior high quiz team defeated Fairview yesterday by a score of 21-20. The top scorer was Kayden Dominque with 15 points.

Attention all 9th graders: Please check your email and promptly fill out the google form you received yesterday regarding your February 7th field trip. We need a lunch count by the end of the day today.


Wednesday, Jan. 18 - Last night the JV and Varsity quiz teams both moved to 2-0 in the NBAL by defeating Swanton.  JV won with a score of 220-50 and Varsity won 275-90.

The varsity girls’ basketball team lost to visiting Wauseon 36-44. The JV girls lost 15-26.


Tuesday, Jan. 17 - 

Congratulations to Elise and Renee Hoylman who both earned gold keys for the short stories they submitted to the regional Scholastic Art & Writing competition. Their pieces will move on to be judged nationally. Elise also received an American Voices Nominee - an honor given to just 5 works submitted in the region.

The library will be closed today.

Morning Activity Period will be for Student Council - meet in the theatre. FFA will NOT be meeting this morning. 

The theme for tonight's girls game is ESPN night.  Only the seniors are to dress up. All underclassmen are to wear their favorite sports team apparel.

Results from over the weekend:  On Thursday, the varsity and JV girls both picked up BBC wins.  The varsity girls won 39 to 19 and the JV girls won 28 to 10. The varsity girls lost to Antwerp in a close one 34 to 36 and the JV girls lost 28 to 33. The varsity and JV boys both picked up BBC wins at North Central on Friday. The varsity boys won in overtime 53 to 52 and the JV boys team won 40 to 36. On Saturday, the varsity boys defeated Evergreen 56 to 45. The JV boys lost to Evergreen 20 to 46. The 8th grade boys lost to Montpelier 22 to 30 and won over Stryker 26 to 20. The 7th grade boys defeated Montpelier 46 to 16 and defeated Stryker 27 to 18. The 8th grade girls lost to Montpelier 11 to 14 and lost to Stryker 22 to 27. 

The 7th grade girls won over Montpelier 14 to 12.

On Friday, in the 4th quarter at North Central Cayden Jacoby became the 10th boys basketball player to score 1000 points in their career.  Congratulations to Cayden on this accomplishment.
