Friday, Dec. 9 - 

For those of you that are currently enrolled in US Government with Mrs. Frazer, you will be taking the US Government state test on Thursday, December 15th beginning at 8:20 AM. For those of you that arrive late to school (do not have a 1st or 2nd period class), you MUST arrive to school by 8:20 AM and report to the main office for testing.

This coming Monday, Dec. 12, will begin the high school Christmas spirit week.  Monday’s theme is “White Christmas.”  Wear all white.

The varsity and JV boys lost to Emmanuel Christian last evening. The varsity lost 50-65 and the JV lost 28-38. Good luck the the JV and varsity girls’ teams tonight as they host the Evergreen Vikings.

This morning’s activity period will be for FCCLA - meet in the old commons; Student Council will meet in the theatre. 


Thursday, Dec. 8 - Additional audition times for The Wizard of Oz have been added for this Friday. Students in grades 7-12 are eligible to audition. See Mr. Beck if none of the available time slots work for you.

Tuesday, Dec. 6 - 

Those FCCLA students going to the Walleye game Weds, please meet in the Atrium on Weds morning at 8:20 for attendance. 

At yesterday’s Fulton County tournament, the JV finished the day undefeated and was named tournament champions.  The varsity team fell to Evergreen in the final round and was named tournament runners-up, qualifying for the four county quiz off tournament to be held later this year. At the conclusion of the day, a few quizzers traveled to Toledo to wrap up the Toledo Area League regular season with a tri match against St Johns and St Francis to determine the season’s top finishers.  The varsity team finished third overall out of 26 teams.  The JV team’s official placement has yet to be determined, but they are also within the top three.  Congratulations to both teams!

Results from last night:  The varsity and JV girls basketball teams were defeated by Delta. The varsity girls lost 45 to 42 and the JV team lost 27 to 16. The 7th grade boys picked up the win over Delta 42 to 34. The 8th grade boys lost 39 to 18. The 8th grade girls lost to Delta 29 to 20 and the 7th grade girls lost 32 to 10.

Congratulations to the following students who were selected as members of the 2023 District I high school honors band and choir: Kate Roth, Lily Nofziger, Wyatt Borer, Mina Wesche, and Keegan Wyse. Congratulations to Haiden Beck and Sophie Wyse, who were selected as members of the 2023 District I Junior High Honors Choir and Ryan Bishop and Caleb Lako for being selected for the JH Honors Band. These students will perform at the Stranahan Theatre on Sunday, January 22. 


Monday, Dec. 5 - 

Results from over the weekend:

The varsity and JV girls basketball teams both picked up road wins at North Central on Friday. The varsity girls won 45 to 20 and the JV team won 45 to 12.

On Saturday, the varsity boys won in overtime over Paulding 59 to 56. The JV boys and the freshman boys both were defeated by the host Panthers. The 7th and 8th grade girls both lost to the visiting Holgate Tigers on Saturday. The 7th and 8th grade boys both picked up wins at Montpelier. 

The JH girls and the JV & varsity girls both travel to Delta and the JH boys host Delta today. Good luck to all of our teams
