Friday, Sept. 2 - 

This is a reminder to all students that after eating lunch, you are to go to the atrium or JH gym only. You should not be wandering the halls, going to your locker, or spending extended periods of time in the restroom. Also, it is important to note that cell phones are NOT permitted in the restrooms. 

FCCLA will be hosting the Eastern Kentucky Flood drive relief. Please help by bringing in items that are listed on the posters around school. and on the school website. Please bring your items in by Sept 10th and help us help the people in Eastern Kentucky that have lost so much by the flood.

The Archbold Buckeye is requesting students to wear Pettisville shirts to the Fulton County fair next week. Be prepared to smile and say “cheese”  for the camera!

If you are a high schooler interested in going to a United States Military Service Academy after graduation, please visit Miss Audet to learn about an information night, and how you can apply for a nomination.

Please do not use the boys’ restroom across from the cafeteria until further notice.

Results from last night:  

*The high school volleyball teams made it a clean sweep over host Montpelier in non-conference play. The varsity won 25-20, 25-17, 25-20. The JV won 23-25, 25-11, 25-21. The freshman won 18-25, 25-21, 25-17. The 7th grade team lost to Montpelier 15-25, 25-19, 21-25. The 8th grade team lost to Montpelier 18-25, 14-25

*The varsity golf team won the BBC match-up with Hilltop 169 to 188.  Sam Myers 39 Co-Medalist. Jack Leppelmeier 39 Co-Medalist. Caden Bishop 45 . Creighton Aeschliman 46.

*The varsity soccer team lost 4 to 0 on the road at Maumee Valley Country Day.

The varsity golf team picked up the BBC win at Holgate 165-228. Jack Leppelmeier 37 - Medalist, Creighton Aeschliman 41, Caden Bishop 43, Blayn Meck 44. Congratulations.

Results from last night:  The varsity and JV volleyball teams were victorious over host Fayette.

Varsity won in 3 sets 25-12, 25-10, 25-4. JV won in 2 sets 25-15, 25-9.  The 8th grade volleyball team won in 2 sets over Fayette 25-7, 25-11.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with our very first Blackbird Movie Night. It was a successful event and we are looking forward to many more fun community gatherings.

*The varsity and JV soccer teams both lost close matches to Archbold.  The varsity lost to 1 to 0 and the JV also lost 1 to 0.

*Cross Country Results from the Defiance Early Bird.  Team scores are not calculated for this event. Top Runners:  Varsity Girls - Kendall Sears in 11th. Varsity Boys - Zach McWatters in 7th. JH Girls - Ashalyn Rice in 11th. JH Boys - Gavin Knierim in 4th.
