Good luck to the girls’ basketball team tonight in the sectional semi-final at Bryan High School. Pettisville will take on Lincolnview starting at 7:00pm.  Tickets can only be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets. All tickets are $8 until 4:00pm today.  After 4:00, the price increases to $10 per ticket.

7th, 9th and 11th graders will have the annual vision and hearing screenings by Mrs. King this morning. 7th graders will have your vision checked, while 9th and 11th graders will have both vision and hearing checked. Screenings will take place in room 209.

The high school quiz team moves to 6-1 in local NBAL play after a tough loss last night to Archbold on the final question. Lyla Heising was high scorer with 40 points.

OHSAA Girls Basketball Sectional Semi-final Tournament ticket information.  Pettisville will take on Lincolnview on Wednesday, February 16, at 7:00 pm at Bryan High School. Tickets can only be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets. Select Girls Basketball -> Division IV -> Region 14 Defiance.  All tickets are $8 until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16.  After 4:00 pm on the day of the game, the price increases to $10 per ticket.

Congratulations to the freshman boys’ basketball team for winning the BBC Tournament last night at Montpelier.  The freshman defeated Fayette 26 to 16 in the championship game.

The JH Quiz team picked up its second win of the season last Thursday with a 47-30 win over Swanton.  Evie Heising and Ryan Bishop each scored 11 points.

The local science fair was this past Saturday. Six high school students presented their projects to professionals from the Pettisville community who judged their projects on the use of the scientific method, written, oral and visual presentation of project, depth of understanding of topic, and originality. The results were as follows: Excellent ratings went to Delana Damman, Ashlynn Lugbill, Ella Richer, Susan Ringler, and Kelly Wyse. A superior rating went to Amanda Grimm. Great job Blackbird scientists!
