The JH quiz team began its season yesterday with a win over Fairview 50-19. Top scorers were Evie Heising and Caroline Sterken with 15 points each.
Last evening, the JV girls picked up the BBC win over Edon 30-18. The varsity girls lost to Edon 42-55.

JV and varsity boys’ basketball host Edon tonight at 6:00pm. On Saturday, the 7th grade girls take on Holgate at Montpelier High School around 10:30am. Pettisville will be hosting the JH boys’ basketball tournament starting tomorrow at 8:30. The 7th grade boys play Holgate in the JH gym at 8:30 and the 8th grade boys play Fayette in the varsity gym at 8:30. This is a BBC Tournament event. Ticket prices are $4 for adults and $3 for students. No season passes or senior citizen passes will be accepted.

The theme for tonight’s boys’ basketball game is “Black Out.” Tomorrow night’s theme is “USA.”

Junior High FCA will meet Thursday during lunch instead of today.
Last night, the HS varsity quiz team defeated Napoleon 285-90. Elise Hoylman was high scorer with 45 points.
Last evening, the 9th grade boys’ basketball team lost to host Fairview. The 7th and 8th grade boys both picked up BBC wins over Holgate last night. 7th grade won 27-21 and the 8th grade won 36-33.

Results from over the weekend: The JV and varsity boys’ basketball teams both picked up BBC wins over Fayette on Friday. The JV team won 26 to 13 and the varsity team won 45 to 33. The 8th grade girls lost in the BBC Tournament to Hilltop. The JV and varsity teams split with Liberty Center Saturday night. The varsity won 46 to 45.
Good luck to the 7th grade girls in the BBC semi-finals vs. Holgate at Montpelier’s Superior School.
The varsity boys’ basketball team should be in room 150 at 4:30 pm today.
