Congratulations to the JV and varsity girls’ basketball teams for their BBC victories over Fayette last night. The JV team won 26 to 23 and the varsity team won 44 to 19.
The JV and varsity boys travel to Fayette tonight for a BBC match-up. Saturday is Homecoming. Please be reminded the homecoming ceremony begins at 5:10 pm. Doors open at 4:15 pm.
The theme for tonight’s boys’ basketball game is “Career Night.” Saturday night’s boys’ basketball theme is “Flannel.”

The regional Scholastic Writing awards were announced yesterday. 800 works of writing were submitted and 270 received a Gold Key, Silver Key, or Honorable Mention. Junior Rylee Beltz was awarded two honorable mentions and a silver key in poetry. Senior Zach Girdham received two honorable mentions in poetry. And junior Renee Hoylman received a silver key in the short story category. Congratulation s to Rylee, Zach, and Renee.
Mr. Lane would like to remind everyone that no breakfast is to be eaten in the locker rooms or atrium.
In high school quiz action last night, the JV team defeated Swanton 65-60. Kate Roth was high scorer with 25 points. The varsity team won 270-5. Lyla Heising was high scorer with 60 points.

Results from last night with our basketball teams and Stryker: The 7th grade girls won 10 to 5. The 8th grade girls lost 11 to 18. The 7th grade boys won 17 to 8. The 8th grade boys won 41 to 10. The 9th grade boys lost 24 to 30.
The JV and varsity girls travel to Wauseon tonight for a non-league match-up. All tickets must be purchased online at the wauseonsports.org/tickets. Good luck!
