There will be a JH band and choir picture today during 2nd period.
The JV and varsity girls’ basketball teams split with Holgate last night. The JV team won 24-19. The varsity team lost 29-42.
Some homecoming court announcements this morning - There will be a photo for media Tuesday at 11:40 in the atrium. Please dress nicely. The court members will be receiving a google form for questions to be read at the ceremony. We would like those to be completed by Thursday before the long weekend. If you could check your email today and get that done even today, that would be extremely helpful, as we have to put the programs together in advance. If you have not been measured for your tux, you need to run to Laubers TODAY for that to be ordered on time for January 22.
All students in grades 9-12 are invited to the homecoming dance from 9-12pm on Jan. 22. Please reply via the google form from Hannah Huddle. If you are inviting a student from another school, there is a line for that information on the form. Tickets will be sold at the door that evening for $4.
Be sure the tune in to WNWO NBC 24 tomorrow morning at 9am to watch the high school quiz team take on Anthony Wayne in the Academic Challenge.

FCCLA members: Please bring your money for t-shirts to Ms. Litogot before tomorrow. Money needs to be turned in before the t-shirts are ordered.
There will be a read-through of “Little Women” at 7:00 this evening in the theatre. Chorus members do not need to attend. Please inform Mr. Beck if you are unable to be there.
In academic quiz competition this week, the varsity team opened their NBAL season with a win over PH 325-75. Renee Hoylman was the high scorer with 65 points. They also defeated BG in the Toledo Area League 285-55. Lyla Heising was high scorer with 85 points.

Results from last night: The freshman boys’ basketball team won over Holgate 32 to 22. The 7th grade girls picked up the win over Swanton 28 to 12. The 8th grade girls were defeated 16 to 28. The 7th grade boys lost to host Swanton 20 to 32. The 8th grade boys picked up the road win 41 to 35.
Good luck to the JV and varsity girls’ teams tonight as they host Edon.

Results from over the break: The JV and varsity girls were victorious at Fayette. The JV team won 19 to 15 and the varsity team won 40 to 18. The JV and varsity boys’ teams lost at Archbold. The JV lost 30 to 43 and the varsity lost 32 to 50. The 8th grade girls lost to host Fayette. The 7th and 8th grade boys’ teams both picked up wins over Fayette.
