Welcome Mr. Wagner

Get to know Pettisville’s incoming Junior High - High School Principal, Mr. Wagner!

Why did you choose to come to Pettisville?

Living my entire life in Northwest Ohio with the exception of three years, I’m drawn to areas where the school serves as the heart of the community. I cherish family, value quality education, and am dedicated to enhancing the lives of others. It did not take long for me to realize that my core values are parallelled with the values of the Pettisville community and schools. The Pettisville Local School District is held in high regard academically, and I feel strongly that I can add to the already strong foundation by creating endless opportunities for our students.

What you can’t wait to tell your new teachers and students:

Students, my goal is to collaborate with our staff to create a safe, innovative, and positive learning environment for all of you to reach your fullest potential. I look forward to building rapport with you all, and cannot wait to cheer you on at our after school events and activities! Staff, I’m looking forward to meeting you all, and begin building strong relationships that result in enhancing our students’ growth and experiences. We must challenge each other to be our best for our students daily. Decisions will be based on what is best for our students, and that will be determined through a collaborative and data-driven approach. I’m thrilled to be a Blackbird and cannot wait to get started! Go Blackbirds!
