The “fall” play, The Crucible, will be performed at long last! There will be a single performance at 2:00 on Sunday, Dec. 5. You may purchase tickets at the door for $6 each. Please come and support the PHS thespians. They have worked hard to make this performance a reality.

This morning’s activity period will be for class meetings. Freshmen should to go Ms. Dorosz’s room and Mrs. Dadisman’s room. 

Freshmen who have Ms. Dorosz 3rd period should go to Ms. Dorosz’s room. Freshmen who have Ms. Dorosz 7th period should go to Mrs. Dadisman’s room.

A big thank you to all who participated in homecoming voting this year. Class reps will be announced next week on morning announcements. And now your Student Council president, Hannah Huddle…….”The 2022 Homecoming Queen is…….Karen Pursel and the 2022 King is Josh Basselman. Congratulations to you both!”

The theme for Dec. 4th boys’ basketball game is: “Dress like your type.”

Results from last night:  The varsity boys’ basketball team was victorious over the visiting Stryker Panthers 44 to 36. The JV team lost to Stryker 35 to 23.

Good luck to the girls’ basketball teams tonight at home vs. North Central.   The JV game will only be 2 quarters. The varsity game will then start earlier than normal.

Thursday, Dec. 2 - 

FCCLA members: If you have not picked up and returned your form to go to Christmas Cheer on December 9th, please stop by and pick it up from Ms. Litogot. They are due this Friday.

Attention Freshmen:  Class rings and class jewelry will be delivered on Friday, Dec. 10 before school in the cafeteria. You will need to pay your remaining balance due to pick up your order. Please pay online in advance or on delivery day with cash or money order.

Wednesday, Dec. 1 - 

This morning is the annual free cholesterol screening for freshmen and seniors. Staff members can have their cholesterol screened for only $5.  The screening is being offered by the Fulton County Health Center, whose workers will be located in room 209. We thank FCHC for providing us this service.  Students will be called in small groups throughout this morning and you will need to take your completed form with you to the screening. If you previously turned in your form to the office, it will already be in room 209. If you are participating and have your completed form, at the conclusion of this morning’s announcements, would seniors whose last names begin with the letters A-F please go to room 209 for your cholesterol screening.

Winter sport pictures can be picked up in the office.

Monday, Nov. 29 - 

This message is for all freshmen, seniors, and staff:  This Wednesday, Dec. 1st, is the annual free cholesterol screening for only $5. Money raised will go to the Fulton County Heart Radiothon.  The screening for freshmen and seniors will take place during the morning on Wednesday in room 209. Staff members can be screened before school or during the morning starting at 7:30am. All freshmen and seniors are encouraged to get their cholesterol screened, as high cholesterol is a health risk. Freshmen and seniors will receive a form today in English 9 or American Government class that will need be to be completed prior to Wednesday’s screening. All students under the age of 18 will need a parent signature. The form will need to be brought to school by Wednesday morning in order to be screened. You may also drop your completed form off in the office before Wednesday.

The JV and varsity boys’ basketball teams were both defeated by host Delta on Friday. On Saturday morning, the 7th and 8th grade boys’ teams were both victorious at Stryker. The 8th grade girls’ team lost to the visiting Stryker Panthers.  On Saturday evening, the JV team won over Fayette and the varsity lost to the visiting Eagles.
