Pettisville Schools is excited to introduce the Blackbird Birthday Book Club – a fun way to celebrate your child’s birthday and fill our library with great books for all students to enjoy. In honor of your child’s birthday (or half birthday), we invite you to donate a book of your choosing to our school library. Your child can choose to donate their favorite picture book (hardcover), chapter book, or non-fiction book (hardcover). Please feel free to contact me to make sure we don’t already have the book in the library. You are not obligated to purchase from Amazon, I just thought it would be helpful for you to see some ideas of books that the kids would enjoy (and provide a one-click shopping option). Those books would ship directly to the school, so please make note of your child’s birthday in the gift receipt area. As a thank you, a special bookplate with your child’s name will be placed inside the book. Your child’s picture will be taken with the book and posted on the school website, and he/she will also receive a small birthday treat from the library.
