Morning Activity Period today will be for FFA – meet in Mr. Poulson’s room #163; Student Council – meet in the theatre.

The theme for tonight’s volleyball game against Edon is “Neon.”

There will be basketball open gym tonight from 5:00-6:00 for girls in grades 7-12. Open gym will be in the JH gym.

This is a reminder that tonight’s JH volleyball match at Edon is 8th grade only starting at 5:00pm.

There will be no 7th grade volleyball practice today.

A huge thank you to the entire community for a successful blood drive yesterday! We collected 30 units from students, teachers, parents, and friends! Thank you from the Student Council!

Wednesday, Oct. 6 - 

 Results from last night: The volleyball teams all picked up wins last night. The varsity team defeated Fayette in 3 sets: 25-7, 25-8, 25-13. The JV won: 25-5 and 25-23.  The 8th grade defeated Fayette 25-14, 25-7.  The 7th grade defeated Swanton 23-25, 25-16, 25-10.

The JV soccer team lost to Liberty Center 1 to 0.

School pictures have arrived and are in the office. Please stop by and pick them up.

Monday,  Oct. 4 - 

October 6th is coming up, it's not too late to sign up for donating blood. During the month of October, donors will receive a free $5 gift card from a list of merchants to choose from. Be sure to give your email address when filling out registration so you can receive the link after donating. For those who have signed up, your iron levels must be high enough to allow you to donate. Remember to be eating a variety of iron-rich foods over the next week and drink extra water each day.

Results from the weekend:

*The boys’ varsity cross country team finished 9th at the Edgerton Invitational. Zach McWatters finished 14th.

*The girls’ varsity cross country team finished 3rd. Grace Remington finished 9th and Kendall Sears finished 15th.

*The JH boys had 2 runners in the top 15. Jack Leppelmeier won the race and Gavin Knierim finished 5th. Leah Roth finished 15th in the JH girls’ race.

*The varsity volleyball team finished 1 and 2 at the Archbold Spiketacular with a win over Edgerton and losses to Hilltop and Otsego. Paris Coopshaw was selected to the all-tournament team. The JV finished in 3rd place with wins over Hilltop and Paulding and one loss to Tinora.

There will be a meeting today at lunch for JH boys’ basketball players and high school boys’ basketball players today at lunch in the study hall. Please bring your lunch to the meeting.
