Wednesday, April 28 - 

The Ohio Academy of Science Virtual District Science Day results were posted recently. Receiving superior ratings were: Susan, Ringler, Kelly Wyse, Amanda Grimm.  Receiving excellent ratings were: Donny Adams and Ashlynn Lugbill.

Results from last night:  The varsity softball team and varsity baseball team were both victorious last night in the BBC. The varsity softball team won over Fayette 23 to 4. The varsity baseball team won over Fayette 17 to 0.

The varsity track teams hosted Fayette and Stryker. Girls’ scores: Pettisville 77.5, Fayette 43.5, Stryker 29. Boys’ scores: Fayette 56.5, Pettisville 53, Stryker 18.5.

Tuesday, April 27 - 

Results from last night: The varsity baseball team picked up the road win at Edgerton by a score of 7 to 3.  The varsity softball team lost to Edgerton 6 to 1.

The junior high track teams competed in a quad meet at North Central with Stryker and Fayette. 

Junior high girls scores: Pettisville 84, Stryker 34, Fayette 29, North Central 19

Junior high boys scores: Fayette 50, Pettisville 49, Stryker 29, North Central 22

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Bowers, Graffice, Ripke, and Jones set a new school record with a time of 49.3.

Good luck to the following teams tonight:  The varsity baseball and softball teams will host Fayette starting at 5:00pm.  The varsity track teams will host Fayette and Stryker starting at 4:30pm.

Monday, April 26 - 

Over the weekend, the varsity quiz team participated in the NAQT Small School National Tournament. After 9 rounds of play on Saturday, the team finished with a 6-3 record which qualified them for the playoffs. In the bracketed finals, the quiz team finished tied for 11th overall and tied for 3rd place among Very Small Schools.  This finish is the highest ever for a Pettisville team and since the top 3 Very Small Schools are presented awards by the tournament, Pettisville will be recognized accordingly. Heath Waidelich is also named a tournament all-star, finished as the 8th overall individual scorer with over 70 points per game. Congratulations to the team on their outstanding finish.

The varsity baseball team picked up the home BBC win over Edon on Friday 5 to 4. The varsity softball team lost to Edon 17 to 7. The varsity girls’ track team finished 14th at the Ayersville Invitational.

Good luck to the following teams tonight.  The varsity baseball and varsity softball teams will travel to Edgerton. The junior high track teams will travel to North Central.
