Friday, Mar. 12 - 

The JH quiz team competed in the Fulton County Quiz Tournament yesterday at the ESC. For the 2nd consecutive year, both the 7th and 8th grade teams were undefeated, having won 6 consecutive matches. Congratulations to all members of the JH Quiz team for an outstanding year.

From the cafeteria...Beginning March 22nd, students will be able to choose and place many items on their own trays including milk, carrots, fruit, silverware, straw, napkin, and al carte choices. With this change, strawberry milk will be available as well as more fruit choices. Per our Governor's directive, students will be expected to sanitize their hands before and after the serving line. Thank you!

Last night the HS varsity quiz team participated in the finals of the NBAL tournament. After defeating Wauseon 335-80 they moved on to defeat Evergreen with a score of 410-195. The varsity team finishes the 11 team NBAL league and tournament with an undefeated record, and has secured the tournament championship for the fourth consecutive year. Congratulations to them!

Last night the varsity quiz team participated in the preliminary rounds of the NBAL Tournament. They defeated Fayette, LC, Bryan, Archbold, and Defiance and will move on to the finals this Thursday.

Monday, Mar. 8 - 

There will be a lunch meeting in the band room for Homecoming Court and Student Council co-presidents. Please join us as soon as you are done eating today.

FFA Announcements:  In the Greenhand Quiz, Pettisville placed 3rd in District 1 and 21st in the state. Our top 4 quizzers were Sophie Sterken (2nd in District 1), Lauren Shumaker, Lily Wiemken and Mina Wesche. Over 2200 individuals quizzed in the Career Development Event. In the Farm Business Management Test, Pettisville placed 3rd in District 1 and 17th in the state. Our top 4 were Carson Bennett (4th in the district), Luke VanDenBerghe, Nate Keim and Kearsten Zuver. Over 700 individuals took this test. The State FFA Degree recipients were announced. They will receive the Degree in late April. From Pettisville are Andrew Hulbert, Baden Skates, Grace Schnitkey and Kearsten Zuver. Kayla Wyse was announced the Ohio representative for the American Star in Agriscience. Congratulations to these FFA members!
