\r\nMonday, February 8, Rylee Beltz and Kearsten Zuver competed in the FFA District 1 Public Speaking CDE. Rylee placed 2nd overall in Beginning Prepared and Kearsten placed 7th in Extemporaneous Speaking. Congratulations to both on a job well done!

\r\nThe JH quiz team opened their season yesterday with a 25-13 victory over Archbold. Kendall Sears and Genevieve Heising led the quizzers with 8 and 7 points respectively.
\r\nThe JV quiz team was officially declared the NBAL JV league champion with an undefeated record. Good luck to them as NBAL JV tournament play begins this week. The varsity team has 2 more weeks of NBAL season play but currently is the only undefeated team at 7-0.
\r\nThe Wednesday the Pettisville JH and HS will partner with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum to videoconference with a holocaust survivor. JH and HS teachers will have the option to allow their classes to tune in to this presentation at 10am. Teachers will receive an email with more information today, and students will receive an email with a link to the survivor’s bio. As the 3rd period block begins at 10:00am, T3 students are asked to get to their class promptly so the presentation can begin on time. If you are not typically in class at 10am and would like to participate in the videoconference, please talk to Ms. Dorosz today.
