Did you have either of these questions bouncing in your mind this morning? “Why is music playing in the hallways and classrooms? Why are teachers and staff dressed in red, white, and blue?” Here’s the reason! Today is our kickoff of Fun Fridays this year! Two Fridays of each month will be school wide “Fun Fridays.” There will be themes, trivia questions, and hopefully, events announced for all students and staff to join in the fun this year. So, be ready to join in the fun later this month! Stay tuned and stay safe!
The JV and Varsity volleyball teams swept Edon last night at home. The JV won in 3 sets and the varsity won in 4 sets. The 8th grade volleyball team lost to Edon in 2 sets.
The varsity golf team picked up the win over Edon. Tommy McWatters medalist with a 35, Max Leppelmeier 37, Levi Myers 41 and Caleb Nafziger 45. The JH golf team won their 2nd BBC Jamboree with a score of 196 over Hilltop, Stryker, and Montpelier.
The varsity soccer team lost to Wauseon 5 to 0. The JV soccer secured the win 2 to 0 over Wauseon with goals from Elise Hartzler and Luke VanDenBerghe. The JH soccer team lost to Trinity Lutheran 6 to 2.

Thursday, Sept. 10 -
Attention Seniors and Freshmen: The Jostens rep will be here today to meet with all of the seniors at 10:00 in the cafeteria to talk about graduation items. The meeting should last about 20 minutes. When the seniors are dismissed from block 1, they should go to the cafeteria. When the senior meeting is over, all freshmen will be called to the cafeteria to discuss class rings. This meeting should last for about 20 minutes as well. Freshmen will be called to the cafeteria over the PA system.
This is a reminder that the signups for the junior high and high school quiz teams end tomorrow. See Mr. Switzer or Ms. Dorosz if you have any questions.
