Wednesday -

Seniors- you have a class meeting with Mrs. Roper today in the Gym. Please plan to attend. 

The varsity boys basketball team lost in double overtime to Kalida in the regional semi-final. The varsity boys basketball team would like to thank the student section and the Pettisville Community for their outstanding support this season. The varsity team finishes the season with a record of 16 and 10, a sectional championship, and the first district championship in the last 28 years


Tuesday -

The student council blood drive is tomorrow. Anyone 16 or older is encouraged to donate. Check your email for a link to make an appointment. Parent permission slips can be found in the office or on Mrs. Hasting’s desk.

The varsity boys’ basketball team will play Kalida today in the regional semi-final at the Stroh Center on the campus of Bowling Green State University.  The game begins at 6:00 pm, and the doors open at 5:00 pm. All tickets MUST be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets.  There will be NO sales at the gate. Concessions at the Stroh Center are CASHLESS.  Only credit and debit cards are accepted at the concession stands. Parking is $5. Please check the Pettisville School Website for additional information.


Monday -

This past Saturday three seniors competed in the NW Ohio Regional Science and Engineering Fair at NSCC.  Naomi Richer, Creighton Aeschliman, and Gavin Sifuentes all received high superior ratings and a number of sponsored awards.  Naomi participated in super judging, placed 2nd, and was selected as an International Science & Engineering Fair Finalist which qualifies her to  compete at ISEF in Phoenix, AZ in May. Congratulations to all!

It is the last week of quarter 3; spring break is almost here.  Take advantage of the Blackbird Academic Success Center today and Wednesday after school in the library to help finish up work for quarter 3.

Seniors- your class meeting is rescheduled for this Wednesday with Mrs. Roper during AA in the HS gym. Today during AA please report to your normal AA or Ms. Enderle's if your AA teacher is in a class meeting. 

Congratulations to the District Champion Boys Basketball Team. The varsity boys defeated Edon on Thursday in the district semi-final 34 to 29.  On Saturday, the boys claimed the first district championship in 28 years with a 66 to 34 victory over Cardinal Stritch. The Blackbirds will play Kalida tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10, in the regional semi-final at the Stroh Center on the campus of Bowling Green State University.  The game begins at 6:00 pm, and the doors open at 5:00 pm. Please plan to arrive very early to allow for traffic and the line to get into the Stroh Center.   There is only one entrance for fans, and there will be a line to get in before the doors open. Arrive early! All tickets MUST be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets.  There will be NO sales at the gate. The deadline to order District Champion Sweet Sixteen T-shirts is 10:00 am today.  Shirts will be delivered to the school by noon tomorrow for pickup.

There will be a student fan spirit bus for students in grades 7-12 for the regional semi-final game.  The bus will leave from the front entrance at 4:00 pm.  If the departure is earlier, it will be announced at school.  The online form needs to be filled out by a parent by 5:00 pm tonight.
