Thursday Hey Blackbirds! Day 4 of celebrating our school counselors. Here's something important: counselors are advocates for YOU. They make sure you have access to resources, connect you with community support when needed, and work behind the scenes to create a school environment where everyone belongs. They're fighting for your success every single day. Our pajamas today also remind us that rest is important for our minds and bodies. Sleep helps our brains handle emotions, focus better, and stay balanced. Taking care of our mental health means taking breaks from screens, stretching, and doing calm activities like reading or drawing. Rest is how we recharge! Today's AA activity will focus on these things.

Good morning! We’re halfway through National School Counseling Week! Today's focus: Support in hard times. We wear blue today to support mental health awareness. Counselors are great people to talk to when we feel sad or worried and can’t figure out how to feel better. It also helps to take slow deep breaths and remember that asking for help is a brave and healthy thing to do.
