The Blackbird Academic Success Center will start back up NEXT week on Mondays and Wednesdays after school. Remember for those students that come for a full session you will receive a $1 Concession Stand Coupon and be able to enter a monthly drawing for a $10 gift card.
Seniors- you will be dismissed for lunch at 11 am to the atrium for our Pizza lunch!
Results from last night: The varsity boys picked up the BBC win at Fayette 52 to 27. The JV boys won 46 to 30. The 7th grade girls defeated Evergreen 19 to 17.
The theme for tonight’s girls game is Red Out in support of the Fulton County Heart Radiothon. Good Luck!
The homecoming court will be dismissed at 8:30 for a quick picture in the atrium.
Thursday -
For students decorating the hallways for Homecoming week, please make sure to paint/design all items that will be painted or drawn with markers prior to hanging them on the walls and/or doors. Paint and/or markers can bleed through and leave marks on the wall and doors. If you have questions, check with Mr. Wagner.

Tomorrow’s theme for the girls’ basketball game is Red Out in support of the Fulton County Heart Radiothon. We will be accepting donations at the admission table and at the concession to support the Heart Radiothon.
There will be a food truck at the boys’ basketball game at Fayette tonight.
Monday -
For Tuesday- For any student wishing to student aide this semester, you must ask a teacher for permission, and the teacher must complete the student aide form for you. You then must await approval from Mr. Wagner or Mrs. Roper. Keep in mind that you must be in good standing with your grades, attendance, and behavior in order to be a student aide. All students will report to their originally scheduled study hall until they have received an approval email. All seniors should also report to their original study hall today, so they can sign up for senior study hall and await approval. Thank you.
Today’s academic assist will be for class meetings. Seniors will meet in the HS gym, juniors in Mrs. Dixon’s room, sophomores will meet in the STEAM room, freshmen in the JH gym, 8th graders will meet in the band room, and 7th grade will meet in Mr. Switzer’s room.
Attention all junior high baseball and softball players who plan to come out for the team this year - Today there will be a short meeting in room 150 during lunch with Mr. Mendoza.
The library will be CLOSED today, Tuesday January 6. If you still have an overdue book, please return to Dolly Carton by the end of the week. If you can’t remember which books you have checked out, please email Mrs Lammers.
