The JV and varsity girls’ basketball teams split with Hicksville last night on the road in non-conference play. The JV team won 8-0 and the varsity lost 27-39.
Pre-sale tickets for homecoming this Saturday are on sale in the office Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00-4:00. Pre-sale ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students.
All high school students: Don’t forget about the 5th quarter at the Back Bay from 9:00-11:00pm this Friday night after the boys’ game. Games, free pizza and drinks will be available.

Cast of Sound of Music: There has been a rehearsal change for tonight. Rehearsal will be for the entire company except for the children from 7:00-9:00pm. Some people will finish earlier. Rehearsal for Thursday is from 7:00-9:00. Only Captain, Elsa, Max and Maria need to attend.
Valentine’s Day is approaching and hopefully you are thinking about giving special gifts to the people you care about and love. Stop by the atrium and see what you can send to your Valentine. You can purchase the following: Gerber Daisies - $6; Carnations - $3.50; Crush Pop Cans - $1. You can send a message with your gift. FCCLA will have a table in the atrium during lunch today and each day until Feb. 12th. Find out the colors of flowers when you stop by the table. Pick up your order forms, fill them out, and return them with the correct amount of money for your order. All orders will be delivered on February 14th. Results from over the weekend: The 8th grade girls are BBC Tournament runner-ups. The girls lost a close game 33-38 to Fayette in overtime. The 7th grade boys and 8th grade boys both lost close games in the BBC quarter-finals to Stryker.
More weekend results: The JV girls won over Delta 15 to 3 and the varsity lost 26-44. The JV boys lost to Ayersville 28-34 and the varsity boys were defeated 43-48. The JV and varsity boys travel to Evergreen tonight for a rescheduled game starting at 6:00pm.
High school students, please check your email to complete the homecoming dance registration. You will be able to also register a guest, but please do so before Friday, Feb. 7. Payment is accepted at the door ($5) or in advance ($4) during lunch with a student council member. Four County students should check their Pettisville email for the invitation link. If they would like to pay in advance, they may send their payment to the school office, attention student council dance.
