Thursday, Oct. 10 - 

Ready to get your license? Don’t know how you’re going to fit it in? Completing the 24 hours of classroom instruction online may be the answer. Complete 2 hours online and you can begin driving with the in-car instructor.  Complete all 24 hours and you’re ready to get your license. Total cost for online and in-car training is $340.  Call 419-266-9907 for more information.

All of Mrs. Bacon’s classes need to go to study hall today instead of class.  Please make sure to take work with you to study hall.

Morning Activity Period will for FFA – meet in Mr. Poulson’s room. Student Council – meet in the theatre. All other students should report to homeroom.

Wednesday, Oct. 9 - 

The FCCLA rally is this Thursday at Camp Palmer.  Be sure you turn your permission slip and $3 into Mrs. Bacon by Wednesday. Pack your lunch and put your name on it and bring it Thursday! Beverages are provided by the FCCLA Chapter. Bring money for ice cream, which is optional.  Meet in the atrium Thursday morning at 8:20. Dress according to the weather. Current forecast is for a high of 72 degrees and a low of 55 degrees. See Mrs. Bacon if you have questions.

JH and HS girls who signed up to buy basketball shoes need to see Coach Waldvogel by noon today to confirm that you are or are not purchasing the shoes you signed up for. If you have any questions, see Coach Waldvogel.

The JV and varsity volleyball teams were victorious on the road at Fayette last night. The JV team won in three sets 23-25, 25-8, and 25-20. The varsity team won in 3 sets 25-8, 25-8, 25-19.  The 8th grade volleyball team won in 2 set over Fayette.

Varsity soccer lost to Continental 2-0.

Monday, Oct. 7 - 

Detention today will be in Mr. Kester’s band room.

There will be basketball open gym for boys in grades 9-12 in the varsity gym from 7:30 to 9:00pm tonight.

There will be basketball open gym for girls in grades 5-12 in the junior high gym from 7:30 to 9:00 tonight.

The varsity soccer team picked the road win at Fort Jennings on Saturday by a score of 4-0.  Goals for Pettisville: Mitchell Avina, Zakkai Kaufmann, Gonzalo Pajares, and Nick Davis, with assists from Mitchell Avina, Quinn Wyse, and Gonzalo Pajares.

The varsity girls’ cross country team finished 3rd out of 11 teams on Saturday at the Hudson Invite.  Kate Stuber was the overall winner followed by Sarah Foor in 11th and Kelly Miller in 13th.  In the boys’ race Zach McWatters was the top finisher in 20th place.  The junior high girls finished in 16th out of 23 teams.  Kendall Sears finished in 15th place.  In the junior high boys’ race, Caden Bishop was the top finisher.
