Come one, come all to the 2nd grade consumer fair in the atrium. It is today from 12:30-2:00. There are many interesting items for you to  check out. Proceeds go to Skylar Strong.  Hope to see you there!

Results from last night: The varsity softball team lost to Archbold 7 to 5. Good luck the following teams today:  The JH track teams will compete at the BBC Championships today at Holgate starting at 4:30 pm. The varsity softball and baseball teams will host Delta starting at 5:00 pm.


Wednesday, May 3 - This morning’s study halls report to the following classrooms, as we will have AP testing in the study hall today. 1st period will report to Mr. Kester’s. 2nd period will report to room 150 w/ Ms. Stahl. 3rd period will report to Mrs. Richer’s. 4th period will report to Mr. Bruner’s. 

Students in US History will be taking part 1 and part 2 of the state test today. Immediately following 1st period, students will report to their testing location, which has been emailed to you by Mr. Wagner. Bring only your fully charged chromebook and something to work on after testing, as you will not be permitted to leave the testing location until after the session is completed. Students will report to their same testing location after lunch for part 2. Students not testing today are reminded to move quietly in the hallways out of respect for those students testing. Best of luck to all students testing today. 

On Monday, May 8th and Tuesday, May 9th we will be running a combined lunch period. On these two days, 7th and 8th graders will remain in 4th period until 11:25 where all students in grades 7-12 will be dismissed for lunch. At 11:25, junior high students will be dismissed to the JH gym, as you will have your time on the gym floor from 11:25 - 11:40. Any student in grades 9-12 wishing to go straight to the gym for lunch, may do so, but they must remain on the sides of the gym until 11:40. JH students will then be dismissed to get their lunch at 11:35, which will help our cafeteria staff with long lines. Students in grades 9-12 will then be able to have their time on the gym floor from 11:40 - 11:55. Any JH student in the gym at this time, will need to be on the sides of the gym. All students will then report to 5th period at the normal time of 12:00 p.m. We will also not be having an open lunch on May 8th or May 9th. Please plan accordingly. Thank you for your flexibility!

The second grade consumer fair is tomorrow, May 4th. Many of you have been involved in past years. Come and check out the many creative items that have been made by the second graders. Come buy a gift for your mom, yourself, or a friend.  See you all there!

The varsity softball game vs. PH and the varsity baseball game vs. Hilltop have both been postponed for today and rescheduled for next Tuesday, May 9.  Varsity baseball practice will be after school until 5:00. Varsity softball practice will be 4:45-6:00pm. 

There will be basketball open gym tonight for girls in grades 3-12 from 7:00-8:30pm.

Last weekend 19 students traveled to the NAQT Small School National Tournament. Pettisville had 2 teams represented at the tournament. Pettisville B finished prelims with a strong 5-5 record. Pettisville A finished 7-3 which earned them a spot in the second day double elimination playoffs where they finished the day tied for 21st overall and tied for 10th among very small schools. Congratulations to them on this outstanding finish to their season. 

The second grade consumer fair is Thursday, May 4th. We have all kinds of items to buy. A few samples are in the art case for you to see. Come check out what the 2nd graders have made.  All money goes to Skylar Strong.


Monday, May 1 - 

JH FCA leaders will meet at lunch today in Mrs. Miller’s room.

Results of the Archbold Relays:  The varsity boys finished in 4th place. The varsity girls finished in 7th place.

Results from the Montpelier Junior Track Invitational:  The junior high boys finished in 1st place out of 16 teams. The junior girls finished in 3rd place out of 15 teams. Casin Nofizger set a school and meet record in the pole vault with a height of 9’10”.  He improved his school record in the 110 hurdles with a time of 17.38. The 4 x 800 meter relay team of Gavin Knierim, Carson Andres, Tyler Wilburn, and Alex set a new school and meet record with a time of 9:58. The 4 x 800 meter relay team of Keren Maldonado, Sophia Loar, Sophie Wyse and Ashalyn Rice set a school record with a time of 11:49.
