Friday, Apr. 14 - 

On May 9th the elementary is hosting a night for activities for kids and we are in need of students who would be willing to walk around with a kid to help them do the activities.  The event goes from 6-7:30 PM.  This would be a great opportunity for anyone interested in working with kids in the future.  If you are interested, talk to either Mrs. Meller or Mr. Waidelich.

FCCLA has an opportunity for you! Ms Litogot is looking for members for her FCCLA executive board. This board will help plan and  implement activities for next year's FCCLA. Applications are available in her room and due to Ms Litogot by April 21st.  Junior high and senior high may apply.  If you have any questions, please stop by or email Ms Litogot.

Morning activity period will be for Student Council - meet in the theatre and FFA - meet in Mr. Poulson’s room.

Today during activity period, 8th graders are to come to the Ag room and learn more about your opportunities in FFA next year.  All 8th graders are welcome to this event. Only contacted FFA members are to come and help out during activity period.

Sign ups for the NHS Smash Bros Tournament are now open. They will be open until April 21, so if you wish to play, make sure you sign up via a google form in your email. Entry cost is $5 which will be donated to charity. If you have any questions, please see Sam Myers.

This weekend will start our fall coffee sales fundraising. We will once again be selling coffee from Special Grounds. Elementary students will each receive a fundraising form and high schoolers may pick up a form in the office. If more sales forms are needed, they may be found on our website. Attention!  We will be making this a competition. The student who sells the most coffee will receive a $50 gift card. The 2nd and 3rd runners-up will receive a $25 gift card. Also, let’s see which staff member sells the most. They will also receive a $50 gift card. The last day to turn in sales will be April 28. 


Thursday, Apr. 13 - 

Today is our Digital Empowerment Day. We will have a guest speaker today, Captain Scott Frank. He is a retired Internet Crimes Against Children Investigator and current Internet Safety Expert. We will be on a special schedule today and the JH and HS will be on a slightly different schedule. Please see your 1st period teacher for this schedule. Grades 5-8 will attend an assembly with Captain Scott Frank from 10-11 a.m. JH students will report to the HS gym immediately following 2nd period. The expectation is that you are on your absolute behavior, and being role models for our 5th and 6th graders that will be in attendance as well. HS students will report to the HS gym for an assembly from 1-2 p.m. You may report to the HS gym @ 12:55. Thank you ahead of time for being prompt, mature, and respectful for our guest speaker today.

2023 Prom table sign-up begins today in Mrs. Miller’s room.  Each table has a capacity for 8. If you are signing up as a group, you must be present with your group when the table reservation is made. Any edits made to a table sign-up must have all participants present during the edit. You may not sign up if you have not turned in your deposit money.

Reminder: All prom guest forms are due tomorrow, Friday, by 3:05pm to Mr. Wagner. Anything turned in after this deadline will NOT be approved.

Wednesday, Apr. 12 - 

Students in English 7 and English 8 will take part 2 of the state test today after lunch. At 11:40 today, all 7th and 8th graders will report to the same testing location from yesterday with the exception of Mrs. Meller’s group. Those students will report to Mrs. Miller’s classroom for testing today. This is a reminder to bring your chromebook and something to work on after testing. Again, access to your chromebook after testing, cell phones, or smart watches are not permitted in the testing location. Best of luck to our junior high students testing today!

Juniors and Seniors:  Table sign-ups for prom will start tomorrow! In order to sign up, you must turn in your deposit money. It is $20 per person and will be returned to you at the conclusion of After Prom. Money can be turned in to Lily Wiemken, Allison Salmi, Chloe Clutter or Mrs. Miller.

Juniors!  Starting tomorrow there will be sign up sheets on Mrs. Meller’s science room door for helping with decorations for prom.  We need any and all juniors available to help the decorating committee with details that can be done ahead of time.

Results from last night: The varsity softball team picked up the BBC win over Holgate 5 to 3. The varsity baseball team lost a close one to Holgate 7 to 6. The varsity track teams won the tri-meet with Holgate and Fayette. Varsity Girls: Pettisville 96, Fayette 41, Holgate 21. Varsity Boys: Pettisville 84, Holgate 42, Fayette 37.


Tuesday, Apr. 11 - 

All students in the 7th and 8th grade will be taking part 1 of the English state test today beginning at 9:10 a.m. Students will report directly to their testing location for 2nd period. These locations were emailed to each student in the 7th and 8th grade yesterday by Mr. Wagner. Check today during 1st period, so you know where you are supposed to go for testing. All students will remain in the testing location through the duration of the testing session. This is just a reminder that students should bring only their chromebook and something to work on after testing. Cell phones, smart watches, or any other materials are not permitted in the testing locations. Best of luck to our 7th and 8th graders testing today!

Results from last night:  The varsity softball team defeated Edon 2-0 in a non-conference game. The varsity baseball team lost to North Central 18-3 in a non-conference game. JH track results from Edon: JH Girls: Pettisville 73, Edon 49, North Central 27. JH Boys: Pettisville 73.5, Edon 42, North Central 38.5.

Good luck to our teams tonight: The varsity softball and baseball teams will travel to Holgate to take on the Tigers in BBC play. The varsity track teams will host Holgate and Fayette.


Monday, Apr. 10 - 

This week begins our state testing season. Students in English 7 and English 8 will be taking the state test on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Students are reminded to bring your fully charged chromebook with you every day for testing. Mr. Wagner will be emailing you the dates, times, and testing locations for each test. Students in English 7 and 8 will test on April 11th from 9:10 to 11:00 am and April 12th from 11:40 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Best of luck to all students testing over the coming weeks!

The library will be closed today.

All seniors will be heading to Sauder's village tomorrow, April 11th for a day of service. If you are a senior please be at school and ready to get on the bus at 8:30 am. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can get dirty and bring a packed lunch!

The junior high track teams both won the tri-meet with Swanton and Delta. JH Girls: Pettisville 61, Delta 60, and Swanton 35. JH Boys: Pettisville 59.5, Swanton 51, and Delta 48.5.
