The HS quiz team opened their season with a virtual scrimmage last night, defeating Van Wert 585-105.
Any student who painted pumpkins and won a ribbon: Please take your ribbon off the pumpkin today.
The JV and varsity volleyball teams picked up BBC wins last night over Fayette. The JV won in three sets, 13-25, 25-9, 25-16. The varsity won in four sets over Fayette: 25-17, 17-25, 25-13, 28-26.
The 7th grade volleyball team defeated Fayette in two sets: 25-11, 25-20.
The junior high soccer team lost to Trinity Lutheran 3 to 1. Mason Wyse scored for the Blackbirds.

The varsity soccer team secured the non-conference victory at Delta by a score of 4 to 0. Zakkai Kaufmann had 3 goals and Blake Eyer had one.
The 7th grade volleyball team defeated Archbold in three sets 22-25, 25-11, and 25-20. The 8th grade volleyball team lost to Archbold in two sets 20-25 and 16-25

High School soccer players will have practice today from 4:30-5:30.
The varsity and JV volleyball teams picked conference wins at Fayette. The varsity won in five sets 23-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-17, and 15-8. The JV won in two sets 25-18 and 25-20.
The varsity soccer team defeated Napoleon 3 to 2 on Saturday. Zakkia Kaufmann, Ellie Grieser, and Blake Eyer scored. The JV team lost 3 to 0.
The varsity girls’ cross country team finished in 9th place at the Edgerton Invite. Top finisher – Renee Hoylman in 31st place. Varsity boys top finisher -Zach McWatters in 41st place. The junior high boys team finished in 2nd place. Top finisher – Jack Leppelmeier in 3rd place. Kendall Sears won the junior high girls race.
Attention boys in grades 7-12 interested in playing basketball this year. For those interested in purchasing shoes, there will be a shoe sizing today in the varsity gym during lunch. Shoes will not be ordered today, just sized. Ordering info will be provided after the shoe sizing. Any questions, please see Coach Leppelmeier.
