Wednesday, Feb. 26 - 

Only 37% of the U.S. population is able to donate blood, but less than 10% donate annually. We can up the percentage of donations right here at Pettisville! Donate blood at the Red Cross blood drive on Thursday, March 5th. See the Student Council table at lunch every day this week for more information about making your contribution to society to save lives. You can also register online at Redcrossblood.org, or contact Mrs. Richer.

This is a reminder to all interested in applying for journalism that applications are due this Friday.  If you need an application, see Ms. Dorosz or Mrs. Dadisman.

The junior high quiz team defeated Swanton yesterday with a score of 41-25. Caden Bishop and Emily VanDenBurghe led all scoreres with 6 points each.

The varsity boys’ basketball team will take on Edon tonight in the OHSAA Sectional Semi-finals at Napoleon High School in the 2nd game of the evening. This is not a split session. Your ticket is good for both games. Edgerton vs. Maumee Valley Country Day Schools will begin at 6:15pm. Pettisville fans will be seated on the east side of the gym. There are NO pre-sale tickets for the sectional games. Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students

The theme for the boys’ sectional semi-finals tonight is “Blackout.”

Detention today will be in Ms. Dorosz’s room #201.

This is a reminder that we will operate on the two-hour delay schedule tomorrow. Teachers will be at school on their regular schedule for professional development, but the day for students will be just the same as every two-hour delay that we have had.

The JH Quiz team moved to 5-0 with a 57-31 victory over Stryker yesterday afternoon. Caden Bishop lead the way scoring 12 points. The quiz team hosts Swanton today after school

All 3rd period study hall students should report to Mrs. Meller’s room today.

Monday, Feb. 24 -

43,000 pints of blood is the amount of donated blood used EACH DAY in the U.S. and Canada. Sign up to give at the Pettisville Student Council-sponsored blood drive on March 5 from 9 a.m. -2 p.m. Sign up at lunch, or online at  Redcrossblood.org, or contact Mrs. Richer.

The count for the last collection day for the 6th, 7th & 8th grade fundraiser is not complete. Please listen for an announcement to let you know when the count is complete and coops and lollipops may be picked up.

Pettisville Ever-Ready 4-H Club will have its first meeting this evening at the Pettisville Park at 7:30.

Detention today will be in Mrs. Frazer’s room #204.

The JV and Varsity Boys Basketball Team split with Edon on Friday.  The JV boys team lost to Edon and the varsity boys won 31-27.
