Friday, Sept. 20 - 

College Reps this week:  Bethel – today at 11:00; Spring Arbor – today at 12:45.

Afternoon Activity Period will be from 12:45-1:15 and will be for Spanish Club. They will meet in Sra. Richer’s room #202. All other students should report to homeroom.

Attn. all new Pettisville students:  Please go to Ms. Dorosz’s room #201 this afternoon during Activity Period for a newspaper picture.

Congratulations to the varsity golf team for winning the first BBC Golf Championship in school history.  The golfers finished 12-0 in the BBC, capping off the league season with a school record 313 yesterday at the conference tournament.  Scoring: Max Leppelmeier 72 – 1st Team BBC and BBC Player of the Year; Tommy McWatters 73 - 1st Team BBC; Caleb Nafziger 78 – 2nd Team BBC; Josh Horning 90 – Honorable-mention BBC.

The JV and varsity volleyball teams picked up BBC wins on the road last night at Montpelier.  The JV team won in 3 sets 25-2, 24-26, and 25-12.  The varsity won in straight sets 25-14, 25-23, and 25-7.

The junior high soccer team lost a close match to Monclova Christian 2 to 1. The JH volleyball teams split with Montpelier last night with the 8th grade team winning in three sets. The JH golf team finished 4th last night at Suburban.

Good luck to the following teams on Saturday: The JV and varsity soccer teams at home with Liberty Center; the varsity golf team at the Tinora Invitational; The JV and varsity volleyball teams at Edgerton with Liberty Center; the JH and varsity cross country teams at the Liberty Center Invitational.

Wednesday, Sept. 18 -

Attention all junior high students! You are invited to come to FCA today during lunch. Please bring your lunch to Mrs. Miller’s room for fun, friends and fellowship. We hope to see everyone there!

There will be a meeting for boys’ basketball players in grades 9-12 on Thursday morning at 7:45am in room 150. Any questions, please see Coach Leppelmeier.

There will be boys’ basketball open gym on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 7:30-9:00pm.

Tuesday, Sept. 17 - 

College Reps this week:  Bluffton – Thursday at 11:00; Bethel – Friday at 11:00; Spring Arbor – Friday at 12:45.

The varsity golf team defeated Edgerton and Hilltop in a tri-match last night 172 to 180 to 199.  Scoring: Max Leppelmeier 36 medalist, Tommy McWatters 45, Josh Horning 45, Jake King 46

The varsity soccer team lost to Swanton 5-2.  Zakkai Kauffman and Gonzalo Pajares scored for Pettisville.  The JV soccer team lost to Swanton 7-1. Luke VanDenBerghe scored for Pettisville.

The junior high soccer team was lost to Maumee Valley Country Day.

The JV and varsity volleyball teams will travel to Edon tonight.  The JH volleyball teams will host Edon. 

Varsity and JH cross country teams are reminded to meet out in front of the school right after school today for elementary running club.

Monday, Sept. 16 - 

College Reps this week:  Sienna Heights – today at 11:00; Bluffton – Thursday at 11:00; Bethel – Friday at 11:00; Spring Arbor – Friday at 12:45.

Detention today will be in the theatre with Mr. Beck.

Congratulations to the golf team for winning the Pettisville Invitational on Saturday at Ironwood with a score of 320. Tommy McWatters was the medalist finishing in first with a one under 71, Max Leppelmeier finished in 2nd with a 74, Caleb Nafziger finished in 16th with an 87, and Josh Horning was 18th with an 88.

The Varsity and JV soccer teams travel to Swanton tonight and the JH is on the road at MVCD.  The varsity golf team will host Edgerton and Hilltop.

Results from the Fayette Cross Country Invitational:  The varsity girls team finished in 4th place.  Top finishers were Sarah Foor in 14th place and Kelly Miller in 18th place.  Top finisher for the boys was Zach McWatters in 26th place. The JH girls team finished in 6th place. Top finisher was Kendall Sears in 14th place.
