Friday, April 5 - 

The FFA is holding a Kiss the Pig fundraiser in order to raise money for the Meals of Hope organization.  Meals of Hope aims to provide meals for families who are experiencing financial difficulty.   In each elementary classroom, there are envelopes with the names of different teachers on them.  If you bring in money to donate, put it in the envelope with the name of the teacher who you want to see kiss a pig! High School donations will be accepted in the atrium.  Help us reach our goal of raising $13,000 before May 1st which will allow 52,000 meals to be packaged and distributed throughout NW Ohio.

FCCLA members running for an office next year:  Please make sure you get your officer application tuned into Mrs. Bacon or Taylor Boger by the end of today or talk to one of them so that they know you’re still running and can give you more time.

There will be a meeting today during lunch with Coach Hastings for JH baseball players.  The meeting will take place in Mr. Bishop’s room. Bring your lunch.

All prom deposits are due today.  You must pay a deposit for attending any one or all parts of Prom activities.  Money can be turned in to Kelly Miller or Mrs. Miller. Thank you to those who have already taken care of this! When your deposit has been received, you may stop by Mrs. Miller’s room to sign up for your table. Each table seats 8 and you can only sign up for yourself and your date.

Morning activity period will be for Class Meetings.  Seniors, please bring something to write with to your class meeting.

The Kiss the Pig collection has Mr. Kester at $8.32 and all other high school teachers at zero! The elementary has collected $96.83 and the leading teacher will be announced after the next collection on Friday.

The last module of STEM will begin Tuesday, April 16th. The theme for this module is Water Quality.  Come join us to explore the water quality of local waterways.  Sign up by next Tuesday, April 9th on Mrs. Meller’s science classroom door.

There will be a basketball meeting today at lunch for girls in grades 8-11 who played basketball this year.  Please bring your lunch and meet in room 150.

Wednesday, April 3 - 

All JH students are welcome to join us in Mrs. Miller’s classroom for FCA today at lunch. There will be a special guest speaker giving the lesson and also snacks. We hope to see you there!

Attention all JH and HS band and choir members:  There will be a group photo taken for the yearbook today in the varsity gym.  The HS choir and Noteworthy photo will be taken 1st period; JH band and choir will be taken 2nd period; HS band will be 3rd period.

Results from last night’s varsity track meet with Archbold and NC: 

*The boys finished 3rd as a team.  Zach Morrison finished first in the pole vault.

*Girls finished 1st as a team.  First place finishers include: 4x800 relay team of Kate Stuber, Sarah Foor, Ava Hoylman and Morgan Leppelmeier; 4x100 relay team of Grace Schnitkey, Dani King, Ellie Wixom and Xavia Borden;  Discus – Grace Schnitkey; 100 meter dash – Xavia Borden; 1600 meter run – Morgan Leppelmeier; 300 meter hurdles – Kate Stuber; High Jump – Ellie Wixom.

           

Detention today will be in Mrs. Frazer’s room #204.

The volleyball program would like to thank all the staff and community for their support last night at Mancino’s.  We appreciated the opportunity to SERVE you and hope you enjoyed your meal.

Monday, April 1 - 

There will be a Spanish Club trip meeting at lunch today in Señora’s room.  Please bring your lunch to her room for discussion about important trip information.

Boys’ varsity, JV, and 9th grade basketball awards are tonight in the varsity gym at 8:00pm.  Players are reminded to wear a collared shirt.

Attention all JH and HS band and choir members:  There will be a group photo taken for the yearbook on Wednesday, April 3rd in the varsity gym.  The HS choir and Noteworthy photo will be taken 1st period; JH band and choir will be taken 2nd period; HS band will be 3rd period.  Jazz band will have their photo taken on Tuesday, April 2nd in the band room during Jazz Band.  Please dress appropriately.
