State Testing Schedule
We will be testing from April 15 through May 2 as mandated by the Ohio Department of Education.
Each of these tests are scheduled in two parts. We will only give one part each day. Tests may be taken throughout the day. Please plan to have your child in attendance for the entire day.
It would be very helpful that appointments, vacations, and other activities be scheduled around these dates. The dates are pushed back as far as possible in the instructional year as possible, but this limits the time for make-up tests. If your child is absent due to illness, he or she will probably be pulled from class on a day that testing does not occur for his/her grade level.
If you know in advance that your child will not attend school on the day of the testing and it cannot be avoided, please call the office as soon as you know so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Please do not put undo pressure on your child towards their performance on the assessments. We ask that you just tell them that their teachers have been preparing them the entire year and to do their best. Test anxiety, does not improve their scores!
