Seniors: The Financial Aid meeting is next Monday, October 2nd at 6:30. It is at Archbold High School in the Lecture Hall.
The Pumpkinfest, sponsored by the Pettisville FFA Alumni and Friends Group, is Friday, Oct. 6. 4th-7th graders can sign up for the 3 on 3 basketball contest using the sign-up sheets located in the office or in Mr. Poulson’s room. Sign up needs completed by Wednesday, Oct. 5th. We need 4 or more teams to hold this event. 4th-12th graders can sign up for the 6 on 6 dodgeball tournament using the same sign-up sheets located in the office or in Mr. Poulson’s room. Dodgeball is co-ed teams with no more than 4 boys on a team. Sign up needs completed by Wednesday, Oct.4 so brackets can be developed ahead of the contest. There are no substitutes. The cost is $5/person. The prizes are t-shirts. Sign up and pay by 3:15 on Wednesday, October 4.
The varsity soccer team picked up a home victory last night over the Bryan Golden Bears by a score of 4-0.
The freshmen, JV and varsity volleyball teams all secured road BBC wins last night over Montpelier.
The varsity golf team concluded their season yesterday at Eagle Rock Golf Club in the sectional tournament. The Blackbirds finished tied for 10th place. Tommy McWatters led the Blackbirds with a score of 89.
There will be a meeting after the home volleyball game on Tuesday for boys in grades 9-12 interested in playing basketball. Any questions, see Coach Leppelmeier.
Activity Period today will be for NHS and FCCLA. NHS will meet in Mr. Switzer’s room and FCCLA will meet in Mrs. Bacon’s room. All other students should report to homeroom.

Freshmen class ring and jewelry orders can be placed tomorrow before school in the cafeteria. You will need to bring your order form and your deposit. Extra ordering packets are available in the office. Also, don’t forget to find a class ring for the oldest class ring contest.

Cross Country Results from Fulton County Invitational at Wauseon:
*Varsity Girls – Fulton County Invitational Champion!! Elizabeth Sauder and Nichole Foor finished in places 1 & 2 to lead the Birds.
*Varsity Boys – Team was Runner-up!! Birds took places 4-6-13-14-16. Max Leppelmeier and Logan Rufenacht led the birds’ charge!
The varsity volleyball team was victorious last night over Edon in straight sets 25-18, 25-11, and 25-11. The JV and freshman teams also picked wins at home over Edon. The 7th grade volleyball team picked up a road BBC win over Edon in 3 sets.
Boys basketball strength training and shooting for Thursday morning has been rescheduled for Friday morning.

The varsity golf team picked to wins last night in a quad match with Tinora, Fairview and Hicksville. The Blackbirds were by defeated Tinora 166 to 193 and were victorious over Hicksville 193 to 199 and Fairview 193 to 206.
