Announcements - Week of 4/15/19

Thursday, April 18 - 

There will be a student/office aide photo taken today at 11:30 in the varsity gym for the yearbook.

An FCCLA picture scheduled for Activity Period today will be taken in the atrium.

There is an FFA shirt raffle going on across from the cafeteria to help raise money for the Meals of Hope project. Tickets are $1 per ticket or $5 for 6 tickets. Money can be turned in to Mr. Poulson, Ms. Wise or any FFA member available in the ag room. Winners will be determined early next week. We thank you all for your continued support in the Meals of Hope project.

Afternoon Activity period will be for Spanish Club. Please meet in Sr. Richer’s room.

Pettisville Idol is May 17th. If you are planning to perform in Idol, please listen to the following instructions. Sign up in Mrs. Bacon’s room by April 30. The person in charge of your performance  must pick up a contract and turn it in by May 3rd. Schedule 1-2 rehearsals. All information is in Mrs. Bacon’s room. Direct all questions to Mrs. Bacon.

Tune in to WBGU this evening at 8:30 to watch the quiz team compete in the semifinals of the BGSU Brain Game against Ottawa Hills.

Wednesday, April 17 -

There will be an FCCLA group photo taken in the varsity gym on Thursday during Activity Period.  This picture will go in the yearbook so please dress accordingly.

Detention today will be with Mr. Beck in the theater.

Good luck to the varsity baseball team, softball team and track teams tonight.

The gym will be open tonight from 8:00-9:00 for high school boys’ basketball players including 8th grade boys.

If you have a sign hanging in the varsity gym from basketball season, you can take your sign off the wall tomorrow during lunch. Tomorrow will be the only day to get your sign. All signs not taken down by the end of lunch tomorrow will be disposed of.

All HS quizzers going to Nationals should come to Ms. Dorosz’s room today at lunch.

Monday, April 15 - 

This is a reminder to let you know there are two separate Mancino events coming up.  The first is a fundraiser for Meals of Hope and is happening today and this evening. The second is for International Science Fair participants and is happening next Monday, April 22nd.

Congratulations to Kate Roth, Haylee Bronson, Sophie Sterken, Ella Richer, Eli Mora, and Liz Rochefort for competing at OMEA Junior High Solo and Ensemble this weekend. All received the highest rating of Superior and  Excellent for the event.

Good luck to the varsity softball team and the varsity baseball team as they host North Central tonight starting at 5:00pm. The junior high track team will travel to Fayette.

The varsity, JV, and freshman boys’ basketball awards will be tonight at 8:00pm in the varsity gym. Players are reminded to wear a collared shirt.

Detention today will be in Mr. Switzer’s room #206.
