The theme for Saturday night’s basketball game is “Country.”

There will be a company rehearsal for “Godspell” on Monday from 7:00-9:00.

Morning Activity Period will be for FFA and Student Council.  FFA will meet in Mr. Poulson’s room and student council will meet in Sra. Richer’s room #202.

Congratulations to the JV and varsity boys’ basketball teams for their BBC victories over Montpelier last night. The JV won 32-19 and the varsity won 52-39.

The 9th, JV and varsity boys’ teams will be back in action tomorrow evening hosting Edgerton. Freshman game tips off at 4:30. The JV game will begin at 6:00 followed by the varsity game.

Good luck to the JV and varsity girls tonight as they travel to Montpelier to take on the Locos. Please be reminded the JV game will only be two quarters tonight.

This week, the NHS is hosting a hot beverage bar for all junior high and high school students and staff. There will be coffee (available for juniors, seniors and staff only), hot chocolate, and tea available. You must bring a travel mug with a lid to put your drink in. Drinks will be available from 8:00-8:20 in the morning outside of the varsity gym.

The theme for the Thursday night boys’ basketball game is “Super Spirit.”

High school quiz team should meet in Ms. Dorosz’s room today at lunch.

Attention band and choir folks traveling to NYC in March:  Your final payment is due this Friday. See Mr. Beck or Mr. Kester if you have questions or if you cannot meet this deadline.

Tomorrow morning will be the FFA group picture shortly after 8:20 in the high school gym. Check in with 1st period for attendance and lunch count. Please remember to wear your official dress or as close to it as possible. You will have time to change afterward.

Congratulations to the 8th grade boys’ basketball team for their victory over Stryker last night 46-11.

The Prom Dinner Committee will meet in Mrs. Bacon’s room for lunch today.

Yesterday, the high school quiz team opened their NBAL season with wins over Liberty Center and Patrick Henry. Congratulations, quiz team, on your 2-0 start!

High School quiz team members:  Please let Ms. Dorosz know by lunch today if you are planning to attend the match at Liberty Center after school.

The following students were selected as members of the 2019 District I Junior High Honors Choir: Hannah Minchella, Zac Nafziger, Susan Ringler, Keegan Wyse, Karter Zachrich, Jayden Hernandez. They will perform at the Stranahan Theatre on Sunday, Feb. 17. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Rebekah Liechty and Zach Basselman who were selected as members of the District I High School Honors Chorus. Also, to Hannah Huddle and Kate Roth who were selected as members of the District I OMEA Honors Band. They will perform at the Stranahan Theatre on Sunday, Feb. 17.

Junior high choir members should report to study hall during the period 2 review time today.

Congratulations to the varsity girls’ basketball team for their victory over Fayette in BBC play by a score of 47-41.

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity boys’ basketball teams for their BBC victories over Edon Saturday night. The JV boys won 46-14 and the varsity won 54-30.
