On Monday, December 3rd, six Pettisville FFA members traveled to the Fulton County Fairgrounds to help set up for Christmas Cheer which took place on Thursday. When the members went, they had multiple jobs to do. Many started with bringing donated items from the cars of donors into the building in carts. From there they set the items on multiple tables which got taken to specific tables to be specifically sorted into categories.

After they are taken and sorted into specific categories they then get taken on carts to get counted and placed on specific shelves. From there the shelves were sorted down into even smaller categories. They also helped make and stack boxes that the people use to get and carry their items while “shopping” on Wednesday and Thursday. The Pettisville FFA student worked for 5.5 hours helping with everything. The Christmas Cheer operators made and gave all the volunteers lunch. Many of the students enjoyed volunteering their time to help this organization.
