Announcements - Week of 11/27/17

Friday, Dec. 1

Elementary, Jr. High and High School students, today is the last day to bring in your canned food items for Christmas Cheer Canned Food Collection.  Elementary should place your items in the barrel by the main office.  Jr. High and High School, your items will be collected at lunch in the atrium.

Attention all High School class advisors:  Please make sure the first thing done in class meetings today is Homecoming Court ballots.  A designated Student Council member should bring the ballots to Mr. Beck’s office immediately after all votes are cast.

Thanks to everyone for your participation in the first spirit week of the season!

Activity period is today and will be for class meetings.  Seniors will meet in the Reading Room #209.  Sophomores will meet in the art room.  All other class meetings will take place in their regular location.

Congratulations to the varsity girls’ basketball team for their 58-27 victory over Fayette last night in BBC play.

We will be operating today on the bell schedule for a pep rally with an Activity Period. The pep rally will be in the junior high gym and will include all students.  Junior high and high school students should sit in the east bleachers as we typically do for a pep rally.  Elementary students will sit in the west bleachers.  The pep rally needs to begin promptly at 2:40, so everyone needs to get to the junior high gym right away after the 2:35 bell rings.  Spirit squad members should be released from 8th period at 2:20 today and pep band members should be released at 2:25.  The boys’ and girls’ basketball teams should be released at 2:30.  Thank you to Ms. Dorosz and Mrs. Dadisman for your work with the Spirit Squad.
