Attention all FCCLA Members: On Thursday, March 30th, we will be attending the Spring FCCLA District Rally at Four County Career Center. Please sign up in Mrs. Bacon’s room as soon as possible. If you already signed up, please sign up again because the sign-up sheet is missing. We will be gone periods 1-7. Please pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Bacon before spring break. Bring money for lunch in Archbold. See her if you have any questions. Hope to see you all there!

Activity Period today will be for FFA officers. FFA officers will meet in Mr. Poulson’s room.

There will be a short meeting for boys’ basketball players in grades 9-12. Please meet in the varsity gym at 11:50am after you eat your lunch. Thank you.

The junior high quiz team competed in the Fulton County tournament yesterday. The 7th grade team finished third in the JV bracket. Lyla Heising led JV scorers with 20 points. In the varsity bracket, the 8th grade team entered the tournament hoping to bring home the varsity traveling trophy for the second year in a row, and that is exactly what they did. They defeated Archbold in the final round with a score of 25-7. Levi Myers was high scorer of the day with 35 total points. Congratulations to all junior high quiz team members on an outstanding season.

Tuesday, Mar. 7, 2017 - The student council will be holding a ping-pong tournament at lunch for a few weeks following Spring Break. There will be a table at lunch starting Tuesday to sign up for the tournament.

Congratulations to the following students who were selected as members of the 2017 Bowling Green State University Middle School Honors Choir: Keilah Fish, Dominic Heising, Lyla Heising, Josh Horning, Max Leppelmeier, Heath Waidelich. They will perform at BGSU on May 6.

Reminder: There will be a high school quiz team picture at 11:45 in the atrium today.

Juniors attending the college fair today please meet by the front office at 8:45.

Basketball players who used a cheerleader uniform for the girls’ game last Thursday need to turn in the uniform to the office by the end of the day today.

Monday, Mar. 6, 2017 - Attention to all students who signed up for the ACT prep workshop. The first session will be held today after school in Mr. Switzer’s room.

All members of the high school quiz team need to bring your shirts tomorrow, Tuesday, for a group picture at 11:45 in the atrium.

The student council will be holding a ping-pong tournament at lunch for a few weeks following Spring Break. There will be a table at lunch starting Tuesday to sign up for the tournament.

Results at the regional science fair this past Saturday:

Superior ratings: Gretchen Lee, Jordan Skates, Josh Bock, Madeline Shumaker, Heath Waidelich, Kayla Wyse, Matt Rupp, Aaron Rupp, Kenzi Rivera, Baden Skates. Excellent ratings: Dalton Myers and Dominic Heising. Category Winners include:

-Gretchen Lee was selected as an ISEF finalist and Jordan Skates was selected as an ISEF Observer to attend 2017 International Science & Engineering Fair in LA, California.

All students going to district science day and symposium are to meet in the Ag Room today during lunch. Grab your lunch and come to the meeting.
