Friday, Mar. 3, 2017 - STEM Club will meet in Mrs. Miller’s room, 207, this afternoon before breaking into our smaller groups. Please let Mrs. Miller know if you will be unable to attend.

Congratulations to the junior high quiz team on their victory over Archbold last night. Good luck to them as they compete at their tournament next Wednesday and to the high school team as they compete next Friday.

Congratulations to Chrysta Back for being named the Ohio Star American FFA Degree in Agriscience. Jacob Dennis has been named a finalist in the Ohio Star State FFA Degree in the Agriscience area. The winner will be announced during the state convention.

This just in from Mr. Lane: Members of the boys’ basketball team are reminded to turn in their cheerleading skirts and tops today. Gentlemen, please make sure your cheerleading uniforms are returned in good shape.

Activity period today will be for class meetings.

Thursday, Mar. 2, 2017 - Any junior high girls interested in playing softball this spring need to sign-up in the office.

At the District I FFA Agriscience Fair Contest held on Tuesday night, three members attended and placed. Matt Rupp was first in the Power category. Jacob Dennis was second in the Plant category, and Gretchen Lee was fourth in the Animal Science category. Congratulations!

Attention junior high and high school FCA leaders: Please meet in the study hall at 11:40 today for the junior high and 11:45 for high school. Yearbook pictures will be taken.

The theme for the girls’ game against Hicksville this evening is “costumes.” Come dressed up as anything you want. See you there!

The girls’ basketball team will take on Hicksville tonight in the district semi-finals at Archbold High School in the second game of the evening. The first game, Stryker vs. Antwerp, begins at 6:15pm. This is not a split session. Your ticket is good for both games.

Pre-sale tickets will be on sale until 4:00 in the office. Pre-sale ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the door are $6. Good luck tonight!

Wednesday, Mar. 1, 2017 - Any junior high girls interested in playing softball this spring need to sign-up in the office.

Senior Ag Business Management students are going to report to Ag the beginning of 3rd period for the Farm Business Management test.

Results from the State FFA Competition were partially posted last night. Placing 1st in the District in Agriscience Research Plant Systems was Jacob Dennis. He is in the state final 4. Placing in the Agriscience Research Integrated Systems were Gretchen Lee – 1st and Jordan Skates 2nd. Gretchen is in the state final 4. Jacob and Gretchen will compete at the State FFA Convention.

Pre-sale tickets are on sale for the girls’ district semi-final game on Thursday at Archbold High School. Congratulations to the 6th, 7th, & 8th graders for collecting $13,334 for your class accounts!! That is $3,000 more than last year! Cayden Jacoby collected $762 and is the top seller. He will receive $100. Second top seller goes to Harley Crossgrove who collected $629 and will receive $50. If you turned in orders on the last collection day, you may pick up your emojis or lollipops in the office. A list of cumulative prizes is posted outside the office. These prizes will be handed out at a later date when we have the final prize day. Great job everyone!

Fans are encouraged to purchase pre-sale tickets from the school since the school receives a portion of the ticket sales.

Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 - Everyone who was/is a student aide first or second semester, please meet in the atrium at 11:45 on Tuesday, February 28 for a group picture.
